Advanced Concealed Carry II
Course Description:
The Advanced Concealed Carry II course is for the shooter that has already attended the legal classes needed for the NC CCW permit and completed the ACC 1 Course. The course covers practical shooting topics that most individuals have never had training on. This course builds on basic fundamentals of shooting skills that prepare the citizen for the unexpected encounter with an assailant involving the use of his or her concealed handgun. The course starts in the classroom with an in-depth discussion and hands-on practical instruction about the fundamentals of marksmanship and the principles for application of use in the gunfight. This then moves into the Dojo where the student learns to defend against the knife, stick and open hand attacks while creating space and moving to a position where they can draw a weapon and use it at intimate distances against a threat target. This portion of the course involves force on force training to cement the training and give a true account of what happens in the gunfight indoors in a realistic scenario. There will physical hand to hand combat training in this course and you must be prepared for this. YOU WILL GET HIT. From there it is out on the range to put these new skills to use in a live fire scenario and learn more skills from the draw.
