Advanced Concealed Carry I

Course Description:

The Advanced Concealed Carry course is for the shooter that has already attended the legal classes needed for and received the NC CCH permit. The course covers basic tactical application shooting topics that most individuals have never had training on. This is a one day course that builds basic fundamentals of tactical shooting skills that prepare the citizen for an unexpected encounter with an assailant involving the use of his or her concealed handgun. The course starts in the classroom with an in-depth discussion and hands-on practical instruction about the fundamentals of marksmanship and the principles for Tactical application of use in the gunfight.

  • Wear of concealed gear and placement
  • Combat Mindset
  • Fundamentals of the R.A.I.D. Tactical Engagement System
  • Principals of R.A.I.D
  • Immediate action for malfunctions
  • Tactical and Speed Reloads
  • Fundamentals of the draw sequence
  • Single action/Double action fire
  • Slow aimed fire
  • Rapid aimed fire
  • Practical and Tactical Rhythm drills
  • Single target engagements
  • Multiple target engagements

Course Requirements:

  • Handgun (a subcompact pistol is not practical for this course)
  • Concealed Holster
  • 3 Magazines (high capacity only, no 7 rd magazines)
  • Magazine Pouch
  • Weather Dependent Clothing
  • Eye Protection
  • Hearing Protection
  • 500 Rounds of Ammo

This course is limited to 8 Students Only!

Additional Course Information:

All students must have completed some sort of basic pistol course prior to attending this one. Call for an evaluation of your previous training or take our basic pistol course.

This course begins at 10 am and ends when we have met the training requirements and standards.

Use of a Glock 19 Pistol and Magazines can be furnished free of charge for the student.

Ammo is at dealer costs to the student. must be coordinated prior to class starting
